Spinner 360 - Slices of Life
Lomography Spinner 360 uses 35 mm film to let the user make eight images on a normal 36 exposure roll. Each image covers a view of at least 360 degrees, often more like 500 degrees. This allows for some compositional freedom in possibly including a feature twice. Details of the camera are found at lomography.com . The camera exposes the whole width of the film. Images can be displayed with or without the sprocket holes and marginal annotations (the "rebate") of the film. ISO 400 film is recommended. I prefer to use color negative film for its exposure latitude. The film type, frame numbers and bar codes are normally orange/yellow. Fujifilm also has lots of red bars in the sprocket area. As Kodak 400VC and GC-135 do not have the red bars, I prefer to use these films. I never thought I would select film based on the printing (in the rebate) that is not intended to be displayed. Using Photoshop I have desaturated and toned down these distractions. You can still see them, but they are not the eye-grabbers they would normally be.
